Ardhito Pramono to Isyana Sarasvati Enliven 'Wave of Cinema' Virtual Concert with Film Story Concept

Kapanlagi.com - About 30 musicians such as Ardhito Pramono, Gamaliel, Maliq & D'Essentials, Padi Reborn, Andien, Kunto Aji, Hindia, Ananda Badudu, Nadin Amizah to Isyana Sarasvati will enliven the virtual concert titled 'Wave of Cinema' which is a collaboration between Bioskop Online and Visinema Music.

Unlike other virtual concerts, 'Wave of Cinema' comes with a storytelling concept from four Visinema Pictures productions. Audiences will experience the sensation of watching a music concert as if watching a film.

"This is a virtual concert but with a storytelling concept similar to watching a series. The story is what makes this concert closer to the audience. The concert lasts for 1.5-2 hours. Presenting different stories, there are excerpts from the film and behind the scenes of the film," said Saron Sakina, the Producer of Wave of Cinema during a virtual press conference on Thursday (10/9).

1. Four Films with the Best Soundtracks

There are four Visinema Pictures films that were finally chosen for this concert, namely Filosofi Kopi Concert, Nanti Kita Cerita Tentang Hari Ini Concert, Generasi 90an: Melankolia Concert, and Surat dari Timur Concert (a combination of the films Cahaya Dari Timur and Surat Dari Praha).

“When the concept was offered with a different format, it felt like something new for me, it can keep us productive. Because the pandemic situation has affected the performing arts the most. Besides that, these four films were chosen because their soundtracks are very strong,” explained Angga Dwimas Sasongko, CEO of Visinema Pictures.

“There will also be an interactive live chat, where you can not only chat with other viewers but also with the hosts. In the first concert, Filosofi Kopi, the hosts are Chicco Jerikho and Rio Dewanto, it feels like you are having a direct conversation,” added Saron Sakina.

2. Ardhito Pramono Can't Wait

Ardhito Pramono, one of the musicians who will perform, admitted to being very excited to be involved in this virtual concert because it has a different concept.

“I'm really happy when I first found out about the concept it would be like this. What's interesting is that I've never had a virtual concert like this before, and it's as cool as this. Because it combines important elements like music from films, music is also part of the film,” Ardhito Pramono concluded.

‘Wave of Cinema’ will be held every Friday from September 18th to October 9th, 2020 starting at 19:00 WIB. Tickets can be purchased at Online Cinema, Loket, GoTix, and BookMyShow with prices of Rp.50,000 (daily ticket), Rp.99,000 (early bird season ticket), and Rp.125,000 (normal season ticket).
