Used to Live Well, Pinkan Mambo Hasn't Had a Singing Job for 5 Years - No Friends Helping

1. Burdened by Debt

This blonde-haired singer was burdened by a debt of Rp100 million at that time. He didn't know where to find money.

"I didn't know where to find 5,000 rupiahs, because as a singer, I didn't know how people who don't sing make money. Because since I was little, I've always had money from singing," said Pinkan.

2. 5 Years Without Any Singing Jobs

Yes, singing jobs have been really scarce. It has been quite a long time, 5 years, since Pinkan received any stage offers.

"Suddenly became an artist. I don't know what it's like to struggle, to sell things, I don't understand all that. God allowed 5 years without any jobs. (Friends) didn't help at all," Pinkan continued.

3. Embarrassed by the Debt Collector

On the other hand, the debt collector is still chasing her, making Pinkan feel embarrassed in front of the security guard. All she can do is continue to pray and surrender to God Almighty.

"I'm sad that the debt collector came to my house, I feel embarrassed in front of the security guard. God, I believe in miracles. I believe that miracles are everywhere, I believe that God exists. I believe in God's promises, God never embarrasses me," Pinkan explained.

4. Husband Starts a Business

Financial problems are indeed one of the problems that color Pinkan's household. Moreover, her husband works out of town and is still starting a business.

"My family had problems, there was no money. I fell down the stairs and had to take care of 6 children. I don't know where the money comes from, my husband is just starting here so the money is slow," Pinkan concluded.
