Even though she has entered her sixties, Lydia Kandou's appearance remains fit and youthful. Apparently, this senior actress has a simple secret to maintaining her physical fitness and high spirit of life.

During an encounter in the TB Simatupang area of South Jakarta some time ago, Lydia revealed that her closeness with her children and grandchildren is one of her sources of energy.

"Happy, enthusiastic, being close to my children and grandchildren is what keeps my body, soul, and spirit healthy," said Lydia Kandou.

Regarding diet and lifestyle, Lydia admits she doesn't have too many restrictions. She actually focuses more on maintaining rest time and body hydration. "No, just drinking plain water is fine," she said.

Lydia also has the habit of going to bed early and waking up early every day. According to her, a good sleep routine greatly impacts long-term health.

"I always go to bed on time, if possible, around half-past eight I’m already sleepy, I go to sleep from half-past eight," she said.

Simplicity in maintaining this lifestyle is also supported by regular exercise and high spirits every day.

"Actually, it’s not about staying young, it’s just about enthusiasm. If my kids are happy, I’m happy too," Lydia expressed.

Although busy filming, Lydia admits she still makes time for family, even though visits out of town have to be postponed for now.

"I'm rarely out, I'm filming. So I can't go anywhere yet," she said.

According to Lydia, closeness with family is the most important part of her life. She said that is the best version she is living right now. "Yes, that's the only one," concluded Lydia.
