In front of the marriage officiant, Prince Abdul Mateen made his wedding vows. He proposed to Dayang Anisha Rosnah binti Adam with a dowry of 1000 Brunei ringgit in cash.
The currency mentioned by Prince Mateen was questioned by netizens. Why didn't he use Brunei dollars, but instead ringgit, which is known as the currency of Malaysia.
However, Prince Mateen has correctly mentioned his dowry currency. Because in Malay, Brunei dollar is also mentioned as Ringgit. So the currency used by the prince is Brunei currency. In Indonesian Rupiah, its value is around Rp 11.7 million.
After the marriage was official, Prince Mateen immediately approached his father, Sultan Hasanal Bolkiah. He greeted and asked for his blessing on his marriage to Anisha Rosnah.
