Raffi Ahmad and Nagita Slavina just visited the National Capital City (IKN) with President Joko Widodo. During the visit, Raffi Ahmad and President Jokowi inspected various infrastructures that have been built by the government.
Raffi Ahmad explained that one of their main activities was inaugurating a bridge that is part of the infrastructure project to expedite the road from Balikpapan to IKN.
At that moment, they also saw the latest developments in the construction of the palace and its surrounding area.
Regarding the investment plan in IKN, the father of two children revealed that there have been discussions about the possibility of investment. "Yes, there was already a discussion yesterday, maybe we are also one of them, yes let's just keep it small," he said.
However, Raffi Ahmad emphasized that the investment project being discussed is still in the conceptual stage. He hopes that the project can materialize. "Not yet, not yet, it's just a concept but just pray for it, this is definitely not just a city but wants to be a symbol of the country," he added.
He also emphasized the importance of support and patience in the process of developing IKN. "Hopefully we can support each other and be patient, there will definitely be a process so we have to be patient," said the husband of Nagita Slavina.
During his visit, Raffi Ahmad viewed the prospects of IKN positively. "The prospects are good, positive, we have tried the toll road, if it weren't for the president, we wouldn't be able to try it," he explained.
Raffi Ahmad also mentioned that the bridge and other infrastructure have shown significant progress.
"The bridge is already there, we have also seen the palace and other things, the president has also been working there, well, we were only there for one night," he added.
When asked about the possibility of being more involved in the government, Raffi Ahmad replied that he prefers to support the government. "We just support the government," he concluded.
