11 Photos of Ratu Meta Telling the Struggle to Give Birth to Her 6th Child, Panic as Blood Sugar Spiked Leading to Three Visits to the ER

One of Ratu Meta's struggles during childbirth was due to her blood sugar spiking drastically to 275 before the delivery process took place.

"From being normal, it suddenly increased drastically. From just 120, suddenly after the lab, drinking sugar water, it went up to 275," said Ratu Meta during a press conference at Brawijaya Hospital Saharjo, Tebet, South Jakarta, Tuesday (30/7/2024).

Not stopping there, Ratu Meta's stomach acid also increased. Of course, this made the woman born on November 7, 1989, have to return to the emergency room (UGD).

"Imagine half of it dropping from there. Well, at that time, I immediately went to the emergency room, the doctor's orders had to be like this and that. Basically, if there’s anything other than diabetes that I have, my stomach acid rises, I go straight to the emergency room again," she said.

Ratu Meta said she had to go to the emergency room three times before the delivery took place. Only after the last visit did she start the process.   "So yesterday, it was really the case that I went to the emergency room three times for direct treatment," she explained.

Ratu Meta is grateful that, although she was initially anxious due to her sudden diabetes and stomach acid issues, the baby was born safely. Even the baby's condition is healthy without any deficiencies.

"Alhamdulillah, the baby now is healthy, and there was no need for NICU. The previous child had to go to the NICU. Everything went normally, and the baby is healthy," said Ratu Meta.

The owner of the single Memory Tahu Bulat is grateful because the hospital where she gave birth played a very important role in the smoothness of the process. Especially considering her condition like that. 

"Now thank God during my time at Brawijaya hospital. Handled by the doctors from the hospital as well. Quick and responsive like that. This is why it went smoothly, no lines, no issues at all," she explained.

With the birth of her sixth child, Ratu Meta is advised not to get 'caught' again like her last pregnancy. Moreover, she has previously given birth via cesarean section three times.

"Stop, the doctor said. Enough. It's already thin, the doctor said. Don't get pregnant yet. That's what he said. Alright then," he concluded.
