As known, Stephanie Poetri has been living in America for several years. Recently, she tried Indonesian food at one of her favorite restaurants.
Stephanie was seen enjoying various dishes, from chicken opor to avocado juice. She relished the food.
Not only that, Titi DJ's daughter also described those foods in English. The short video food review was then flooded with comments from netizens.
Many Indonesian netizens instead focused on Stephanie's increasingly fuller body. They urged Stephanie to go on a diet and exercise.
Not staying silent, Stephanie immediately responded through her Instagram story. "When you make a video about amazing Indonesian food in America," she wrote.
"Hoping people will comment on how proud they are that Indonesian food is known in America," continued the singer of the song I Love You 3000.
"However, instead of that, the comments were filled with people saying how fat I am," Stephanie continued.
"Once again, I am disappointed in people who choose to make negative comments instead of highlighting the positive side of my video. Come on, it's so cool that an Indonesian restaurant is successful in New York, why do you only talk about my chubby body, babe," Stephanie concluded.
