"Basically, every birthday my heart feels like it's being tested, luckily it's still strong. Just like last year when I was pranked, now Verrel and Athala are also pranking me by not being able to come, but I believe my children love me, they wouldn’t miss it," said Venna Melinda when met in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Monday (29/7) afternoon.
In that moment, Athalla and Verrell gave her a gift of a trip around America at the end of the year and a luxury bag that was immediately unboxed in front of the media crew.
Venna also admitted to being happy with the abundant support from her close ones, including colleagues and school friends.
"I'm really happy because last year was quite tough for me and this year I didn't expect that so many friends supported me. Everyone came, colleagues, middle school friends, high school friends, college friends, everyone came. Thank you so much," she continued.
When asked further, besides happiness, Venna Melinda apparently has her own way of interpreting this 52nd year of her life.
For her, before this birthday arrived, there were many easements from the Creator for her so that feelings of praise and gratitude were continuously expressed.
