Surprising news recently came from Kurnia Meiga. Apparently, he has officially divorced his wife since February last year. It was revealed by Azhiera herself through Kurnia Meiga's Instagram.
"This account has been in my possession since we separated in February last year," wrote Azhiera. She also dismissed allegations that she chose to divorce because Kurnia Meiga was sick.
"When I was 6 months pregnant with our third child, there was a fatal incident that forced us to separate after giving birth," she wrote.
"So if the news out there says I left because of illness, that's a fatal mistake. Meiga was sick in 2017 and I remained loyal to accompany him until 2023. That's not a short time," she continued.
Azhiera refuses to reveal her husband's secrets to protect her children. She also admitted to having debts since Kurnia Meiga was sick. The debt was used for medical treatment and living expenses.
The divorce between Kurnia Meiga and Azheira has been decided by the Depok Religious Court with case number 94/Pdt.G/2023/PA.Dpk on January 30, 2023. In the official decision of the Supreme Court, the plaintiff of the divorce is Azheria and the defendant is Kurnia Meiga.
According to Tirto.id, Kurnia Meiga suffered from Papilledema which caused his vision to decline in 2017. He then decided to retire.
Now, Kurnia Meiga makes a living by selling emping, rengginang, and various football attributes.
