Depicting the Life of a Judge through the Film 'Sang Pengadil', Zarof Ricar: Interest in the Judge Profession is Currently Low

Currently, it can be said that the interest and aspirations of young people to become a judge are very low. Most of them are more interested in becoming a lawyer.

Therefore, Zarof Ricar is interested in making a film that tells the story of judges in Indonesian courts. The film is titled Sang Pengadil and Zarof Ricar serves as the executive producer.

"The number of people interested in becoming a judge is now very small, very few," said Zarof when met in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday afternoon (6/3).

"That's why by making this film, especially with handsome actors and actresses starring, who knows the interest in becoming a judge will increase," he continued.

Through this film, Zarof apparently wants to convey the atmosphere of the actual trial to the public.

Nevertheless, Sang Pengadil is still purely entertainment for Indonesian film lovers.

"I want to show 'oh, this is how a trial in court looks like', orderly, how the procedures are depicted in this film," he said.

This film by Lingkar Pictures is directed by Girry Pratama and produced by Agung Winarno.

In this film, there are certainly many talented actors and actresses involved, including Arifin Putra who plays Jojo as the main character and the chief judge.

Meanwhile, Prisia Nasution also plays Abigail who is a member judge. Not only that, there are also Roy Marten, Cok Simbara, Celia Thomas, and Nesa Weroza in this film.
