9 Moments of Al Ghazali and Dul Jaelani's First Umrah, Al Shaves His Head - Dul Sheds Tears in the Garden of the Prophet's Mosque

2020 became a historic moment in the lives of Al Ghazali and Dul Jaelani. This is because both of Maia Estianty's children performed umrah for the first time together with their mother. Let's take a look at the unforgettable moments during Al and Dul's umrah in the following photo slideshow.

In April 2020, Maia Estianty invited Al Ghazali and Dul Jaelani to perform umrah in the Holy Land. This was the first time that Al and Dul set foot in Mecca and Medina.

Al admits feeling happy and peaceful while being in the Holy Land. Meanwhile, Dul admits that this first umrah feels exciting and joyful.

Although they departed together, Al and Dul had to separate from their mother while worshiping at the Prophet's Mosque. However, Maia was not alone because there were other group members, including Melly Goeslaw.

After completing the worship at the Prophet's Mosque, Dul shed tears of joy and gratitude for being able to be in the Raudhah or the Paradise Garden that is longed for by Muslims worldwide.

Maia Estianty's group then continued the series of umrah worship in Mecca. After completing the entire worship series, the pilgrims performed tahallul or cutting at least 3 strands of hair.

Unlike Dul who only had his hair trimmed, Al chose to shave it all off. Al cut his hair with his blonde highlights at a barber near the mosque.

After being shaved bald, Al's appearance looked fresher as if he became a new individual after performing the umrah pilgrimage. Al's pointed beard immediately became Maia's spotlight.

Al and Dul still regularly perform obligatory and voluntary prayers at Masjidil Haram as long as they are still in Mecca. They increase the prayers that they have been hoping for.

During their time in Mecca, Dul struggled to kiss the Black Stone and had to jostle with other pilgrims from various parts of the world. Although he initially failed, Dul finally succeeded in doing it.
