Ammar Zoni went through a drug case verdict trial at the South Jakarta District Court, Tuesday (26/9). In this trial, the Panel of Judges sentenced Irish Bella's husband to 7 months in prison, reduced by the rehabilitation period.

Hearing the judge's decision, Ammar Zoni couldn't hold back his tears. Moreover, considering Ammar Zoni is facing a 12-year prison sentence for violating 2 articles at once.
While standing up, the man who is now a father of two children couldn't stop crying. He is grateful that his punishment is lighter.
With a 7-month prison sentence and reduced rehabilitation period, Ammar only needs a few more months to be free from prison.
"Earlier, Ammar was sentenced to 7 months in prison reduced by the rehabilitation period and the time already served by Ammar. The daily detention and rehabilitation period is around 6.5 months, so if the decision is final on day +7, it means that Ammar will possibly serve around 5 days to one more week until October 3," said Ammar Zoni's legal representative.
Estimated to be released in October, Ammar Zoni hopes that his release will be the best gift for his beloved children, baby Air Rumi and baby Amala Puti Sabai.
After hearing the verdict, Ammar Zoni immediately hugged his lawyer. In this moment, Ammar looked so happy and touched because he could be free earlier.
During the rehabilitation period, Ammar did not celebrate the second birthday of his children. His first son's birthday is in September, and his daughter's birthday is in August.
With this verdict, Ammar Zoni will soon return home and be reunited with his wife and children.
The verdict is lighter than the prosecutor's demand for Ammar Zoni to be sentenced to one year in prison.
