Through her Instagram account, Jodie revealed the chronology of the incident where their electric scooter suddenly accelerated and the brakes malfunctioned.
Although Jodie tried to jump onto the grass before hitting the pole, she couldn't save her leg, which landed on the asphalt in her housing complex.
After treating their wounds with first aid medicine available at home, Julian and Jodie decided to go to the hospital.
Still confused whether to cry or laugh, Jodie had to endure the pain when the doctor removed the bandage and cleaned her wound.
A similar scene was also seen in the next bed where Julian seemed unable to bear the pain when receiving treatment.
Capturing this rare moment through posts on their Instagram accounts, both Jodie and Julian never stopped expressing their gratitude to everyone who prayed for their recovery.
Funnily enough, there are so many funny comments behind this unfortunate incident. Artist and Jodie's friend, Gritte Agatha, even wrote a comment, "True love."
Still considering the incident funny, Jodie and Julian hope that the wounds on their knees and legs heal quickly and do not leave scars in the future.
