Melly Goeslaw recently adorned the stage in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with a grand concert organized by Icon Entertainment held at Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil, Malaysia.
During the event, which was also attended by Putri Aryani and Joe Flizhoe, a member of Too Phat, there was a moment when Melly spontaneously created a song with two audience members.
With great enthusiasm, Melly announced that the song will soon be produced as a collaboration between singers from Indonesia and Malaysia.
"During the concert yesterday, a spontaneous song for Palestine was created on stage, impromptu with 2 audience members from Malaysia, the Palestinian flag was also waved on stage," Melly wrote in a statement received by kapanlagi.com, Monday (3/6/2024).
"And this song will soon be produced. And sung by Indonesian and Malaysian singers who sincerely without any fee and royalty. Solely for our beloved brothers and sisters in Palestine. Bismillah," continued Melly.
Melly continued by expressing that the song is not just the work of ordinary humans.
She also continued that the song is an inspiration given by Allah SWT, as an infinite support for Palestine.
"I think this song is not made by me or anyone else. It's spontaneous. At that moment, Allah sent down or entrusted His inspiration to us. So composed by Allah SWT for Palestine," wrote Melly.
For Melly, this song is an expression of deep love for Palestine, and she hopes that everyone can participate by buying the song, with all proceeds being donated for humanitarian purposes.
"Through this work, this is how we love Palestine. Pray for a quick production process. Hopefully, everyone can contribute, with 100 percent of the proceeds dedicated to Palestine," said Melly.
Melly also expressed her gratitude to everyone involved in the making of this song, from the producer to the orchestra players, who made that night unforgettable. Moreover, the tickets sold for the concert were sold out.
