On January 20, Shahnaz Haque uploaded several photos together with her husband and gave a special note to mark their decades-long marriage.
In her Instagram post, she wrote, "24 years ago, you and your big family came to our house to propose. Without any signs from the beginning, a famous figure but unknown."
"No dating and love. Only using the power of prayer and logic. Falling in love can happen in just 5 minutes. But building love takes a lifetime," she continued.
"Marriage must be worked for. 24 years of learning to love more, not to know more. Because if it’s just about knowing, then hatred for each other's flaws will arise."
"But with love, all those flaws are forgiven. Because God accepted the proposal at that time, as we only had the capital of faith to navigate marriage."
Shahnaz Haque also expressed the idea of loving with a deep philosophy. "How great is the love at this moment? Is it as big as a mountain? Never! Because a mountain can be cut down and disappear. Let’s love just a fingertip. Because it always grows even if it is cut."
