Ammar Zoni is back in court for the ongoing drug case at the West Jakarta District Court today, Tuesday (30/7). This hearing is scheduled for the prosecutor's response to the plea or defense note of the defendant.
This hearing started at 15:40 WIB via Zoom from Salemba Prison. Ammar himself attended the hearing right on time.
During the reading of the charges by the prosecutor, Ammar Zoni appeared unkempt. His hair was long and uncombed, and his beard was thick.
And in this continuation hearing, the ex-husband of Irish Bella appeared neater, as he completely shaved off his beard.
Not only that, this father of two also styled his hair, making him look fresher and ready for the hearing.
At this moment, the panel of judges also inquired about Ammar Zoni's condition. "Are you healthy today?" said the judge from the West Jakarta District Court.
Ammar Zoni calmly and politely answered the question from the panel of judges. "Alhamdulillah, I am healthy, Your Honor," replied Ammar Zoni.
In addition, Ammar Zoni also appeared more composed than in the hearing last week where he was seen crying from the start of the trial upon hearing the plea read by the public prosecutor.
As previously known, Ammar Zoni was sentenced to 12 years in prison by the Public Prosecutor, as he was allegedly involved in drug trafficking.
The public prosecutor mentioned that Ammar Zoni used the code language of fish and vegetables for drug transactions.
