A Series of Neno Warisman's Controversial Actions: Just Recently Called for a Boycott of Mini Markets - Once Asked for Donations from Citizens for Prabowo

In 2015, Neno Warisman was questioned by the police for alleged fraud and embezzlement in the tour bureau she managed. The problem started from two prospective umrah pilgrims who failed to depart.

Neno initially evaded the examination, but eventually came to fulfill the summons and was bombarded with 22 questions regarding the allegations against her. She denied committing fraud and embezzlement.

Neno Warisman was also evacuated at an airport in Pekanbaru for declaring #2019GantiPresiden (change the president) even though it was not yet campaign time, which means it was not allowed. The event organized by Neno Warisman did not have permission and was rejected by a group of people because it was considered capable of dividing the Riau community.

Not stopping there, during her return to Jakarta after her event in Riau was canceled, Neno Warisman caused a sensation when a video of her speaking using the airplane's microphone circulated. The former singer and actress apologized to the passengers for the flight delay and also regarding the blockade that caused her action in Riau to fail.

As a result, Lion Air imposed a grounding sanction, which prohibits two pilots and flight crews on board with Neno Warisman from flying. This is because the microphone in the aircraft can only be used by the flight crew.

As a supporter of Prabowo - Sandiaga Uno as presidential and vice-presidential candidates in 2019, Neno Warisman urged people to contribute their wealth to these candidates. She even referred to it as a form of jihad.

One of Neno Warisman's statements, as quoted from Suara.com, is "Until you release your wealth, that's when we all give out what we have, because that's where jihad lies."

During the time when she was part of Prabowo - Sandiaga Uno's successful team, Neno Warisman also caused a stir when her car suddenly caught fire while parked on the street. Neno reported this incident to the police, who later revealed that the cause of the burning car was an electrical short circuit.

Coming to Munajat 212, Neno Warisman sparked controversy again due to the poem she recited. One of the lines read, "Do not, do not abandon us and grant us victory. Because if You do not grant victory. We are worried, oh Allah. We are worried, oh Allah. There will be no one left to worship You."

Most recently, Neno Warisman caused a sensation with her opinion about calling for a boycott of Indomart, which is a result of the dispute between PT Indomarco Prismatama (Indomaret Group) and its employees regarding holiday bonuses. Inul Daratista also commented on Neno Warisman's opinion.
