Abidzar Al-Ghifari Experiences Harassment by a Woman, Here's the Reason for Going Viral on Social Media

Kapanlagi.com - Abidzar Al-Ghifari recently gained attention after viralizing an incident of harassment he experienced. As known, while singing karaoke, his buttocks were suddenly slapped by a woman.

Abidzar's intention in viralizing the incident is not to vilify the perpetrator. Instead, he wants to educate the public that harassment is not only experienced by women.

"I blew it up on social media not to vilify, but because I want to educate people. That's why I didn't show her face," said Abidzar when met in Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, Thursday (13/7/2023).

1. Apologize Immediately

Abidzar Al-Ghifari immediately reprimanded the woman who slapped his butt. The perpetrator immediately apologized and the issue was not prolonged.

"I immediately reprimanded her, saying 'Sorry, this is harassment,' and I used a microphone to speak, but I wasn't angry. After that, I immediately talked to her and she apologized. That's it, because I also understand that she was just having fun," explained Abidzar.

2. Teach Ethics and Cleanse the Heart

Abidzar Al-Ghifari feels the need to discuss this sexual harassment issue. At the same time, he wants to teach about ethics and cleanse the heart.

"For me, the incident yesterday can be a learning experience, so we have to speak up about this. Because this also teaches about ethics and cleansing the heart. Because ethics starts from the heart," he said.
