The deep sorrow was evident on the face of Sarwendah Tan as she accompanied her father's remains, Hendrik Lo, to his final resting place. The ceremony was held today, Wednesday, (23/7) at the Grand Heaven Pluit funeral home, Jakarta.

The solemn and emotional atmosphere was strongly felt, marking the final farewell moment for Sarwendah and her family with the man affectionately known as Yeye.

Before the cremation took place, Sarwendah and her siblings prayed. They wore matching black and white outfits and prayed together.

Filled with sorrow, Sarwendah tightly held the photo frame of her late father throughout the ceremony held at Heaven Crematorium, Pluit, North Jakarta, on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.

Her puffy face was a silent witness to the deep sorrow over the passing of her father who passed away at the age of 63. The funeral procession for Hendrik Lo was marked by a special tribute. A line of honor dressed in blue and white uniforms, complete with matching helmets, escorted the casket from the mourning room to the cremation site.

In a firm and synchronized step, this line formed a sword formation, paying the highest tribute to accompany the deceased's departure. In the midst of the crowd of family and mourners, Sarwendah continued to hold her father's photo, trying to show her resilience.

Previously, the family held a coffin closing ceremony and a flower night attended by relatives and friends of the deceased. The family decided to carry out the cremation process according to feng shui calculations, as a form of respect for the traditions upheld by the father.

Several other family members also brought ceremonial items such as incense and flowers as symbols of prayer and farewell. This moment became the peak of the series of ceremonies after the body was laid to rest for several days at the Grand Heaven funeral home.

It is known that Hendrik Lo took his last breath on Saturday, July 19, 2025, after undergoing treatment in the hospital due to complications from illness. The entire series of ceremonies went smoothly and was filled with emotion.
