Fujianti Utami Putri or Fuji, along with her brother, Fadly Faisal, on Tuesday (6/8) returned to the West Jakarta Metro Police. Fuji was also accompanied by Sandy Arifin, her legal counsel.
The visit of Fuji and Fadly was to provide additional information regarding the alleged embezzlement of IDR 1.3 billion committed by her former manager named Batara Ageng. Check out the complete photos to learn more details about this case!
When met, Sandy stated that his side still does not know for sure whether Fuji will be confronted with Batara. The essence of their arrival is to clarify some additional statements.
"There are additional statements that need to be conveyed by Fadly and Uti," said Sandy Arifin.
"Today we want to clarify again some additional statements. We don’t know yet (if they will be confronted), let’s see," he continued.
Upon arrival, unfortunately, neither Fadly nor Fuji said a word. But interestingly, the siblings were both wearing sunglasses.
As information, Fuji reported her former manager to the West Jakarta Metro Police in September 2023. Fuji brought evidence of Batara's actions against her.
The evidence submitted to the police consists of a work agreement and electronic evidence. Fuji admitted that he actually started to suspect his former colleague of committing a crime since 2022.
As is known, Batara has been named a suspect and detained. The Head of Criminal Investigation at the West Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Andri Kurniawan, when contacted on Friday (5/7), stated that the funds embezzled by Batara were used for personal purposes. Those funds are now completely gone and have been depleted.
"The suspect explained that the amount of Rp 1,312,997,100 is currently no longer available and has been entirely used for his personal needs and entertainment while he was still the manager of the victim," revealed the Head of Criminal Investigation at the West Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Andri Kurniawan.
