Adam Deni Admits to Being Hurt by Ahmad Sahroni's Accusation of Being a Social Media Activist Who is Envious of Other People's Fortune

Kapanlagi.com - Adam Deni returned to court on Wednesday (6/4) to face charges of allegedly spreading electronic documents belonging to someone else at the North Jakarta District Court. Ahmad Sahroni was also present as a witness.

Before the hearing began, Adam Deni expressed his grievances towards Ahmad Sahroni to the media. He said that he was hurt when Ahmad Sahroni called him a social media activist who is envious of other people's fortune.

"He indirectly insulted me and even said that I am a social media activist who is envious of other people's fortune. I feel hurt," said Adam Deni from behind the bars of the North Jakarta District Court.

Initially, due to his hurt feelings, Adam Deni admitted to contacting high-ranking officials at OJK (Financial Services Authority) to inquire about Ahmad Sahroni's Ferrari car. However, shortly after, he claimed to have received a phone call from Ahmad Sahroni, who apologized for his statement about social media activists being envious.

"That night, because I was hurt, I chatted with high-ranking officials at OJK to ask about AS's Ferrari car. But then, in the morning, he called and apologized for his statement about social media activists being envious," he said.

2. Ahmad Sahroni Invites Adam Deni to Bali

After that, Adam Deni mentioned that Ahmad Sahroni asked him to take down a post. Then, Adam Deni admitted that he was invited to vacation in Bali by Ahmad Sahroni.

"Then he asked me to take down the post and I did it all, and then he invited me to Bali to meet him," he said.

Adam Deni mentioned that this continuation of the UU ITE case felt special to him. Not only was he heavily guarded by police officers armed with long guns, like a dangerous criminal, but his hands were also handcuffed when he was taken from the detention room to the courtroom of the North Jakarta District Court. Therefore, the 25-year-old social media activist felt like a terrorist.

"Today is also special. Because today I am being guarded by several Sabhara (Samapta Bhayangkara) officers armed with long guns from the North Jakarta Metro Police," said Adam Deni behind the bars of the North Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (6/4).

"I feel like I'm a terrorist, even though the crime is related to UU ITE. Is it appropriate for someone who has been charged with UU ITE to be treated like this? Handcuffed, guarded, it's okay," he continued.
