Kapanlagi.com - After going through several privacy right court sessions reported by Ahmad Sahroni, the Public Prosecutor (JPU) finally read out his demands to Adam Deni Gearaka and Ni Made Dwita Anggari. Based on the legal facts that have been collected, both defendants were sentenced to eight years in prison.

"To impose a penalty on defendant Adam Deni Gearaka and defendant Ni Made Dwita Anggari, each with eight years in prison reduced during detention with an order for the defendant to remain detained. Plus a fine of one billion rupiah each," said the JPU in a hearing at the North Jakarta District Court on Monday (30/5/2022).

1. Proven Guilty of Spreading Information

The eight-year sentence is due to Adam Deni Gearaka and Ni Made Dwita Anggari being proven guilty of spreading Ahmad Sahroni's confidential information. Where data that should have been private property could then be accessed by many people.

"Defendant Adam Deni Gearaka and defendant Ni Made Dwita Anggari have been proven legally and convincingly guilty of intentionally and without right or against the law, altering, adding, reducing, transmitting, damaging, eliminating, transferring, hiding electronic information belonging to others or the public that makes the disclosure of confidential information accessible to the public with data integrity," added the JPU.

2. Attitude That Becomes a Note

The demand was also influenced by some attitudes of Adam Deni and Ni Made Dwita Anggari during the trial. One of them is making a commotion during the trial.

"The defendants did not show remorseful attitudes during the trial, the defendants did not behave well during the trial with the occurrence of a commotion during the trial, the defendants were convoluted in giving testimony," explained the prosecutor.

3. Additional Five Months If...

If later Adam Deni Gearaka and Ni Made Dwita Anggari cannot pay the fine, as a substitute, their detention period will be extended for five months.

"If the fine is not paid, it will be replaced by imprisonment for each of them for five months," said the prosecutor.
