Using a New Guitar, Rendy Pandugo Provides a Special Performance at the Java Jazz Festival 2022

"There are actually new things that can be said to be part of the focus of the guitar that I have never felt before in my previous guitars. Because my guitar up until now is just a typical one, nothing fancy with weird technology," said Randy Pandugo at Jiexpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, on Friday (5/27/2022).

1. Comfortable to Play

Rendy Pandugo explained that there are many interesting things about his new guitar. For him, the most important thing is that the guitar is comfortable to play. Not only for performing on stage, but the Yamaha Revstar guitar is also comfortable for recording.

"Actually, the new thing can be said to be its focus because it has never been felt. Because my guitar is just a typical one without any weird technology," said Rendy Pandugo.

2. Unusual Use of Guitar

Rendy Pandugo himself is not the type of singer who always uses the same guitar when performing on stage or in the studio. He admitted that this is done to adjust to the song that will be sung.

"And here, there are quite a lot of options. Starting from the playability, it's really comfortable. That's the number one focus for me, and it also helps a lot from performing to recording," added Rendy Pandugo.

3. Adjustment Needed

Every time he changes his guitar, he always needs to adjust so that the guitar he plays feels comfortable. So, how does Rendy Pandugo adjust when using the Yamaha Revstar guitar?

"It depends on the song. There is no one guitar that is always used, it depends on the song. For each song, there is always a guitar change. I have one favorite guitar, but here I could use one for one album, actually," he said.

"The adjustment is definitely needed. But if it's already suitable, then it's okay. If it's not, yesterday was the first time I used it and I immediately used it for practice. Directly, without any adjustment," concluded Rendy Pandugo.
