Producer Dheeraj Kalwani expressed gratitude for the high number of viewers on the first day. This indicates that many people have prayed for the late Vina, who died in 2016 as a victim of rape and motorcycle gang murder.

"These numbers symbolize the many people who have prayed for Vina. This is a tragic story, not just a depiction of violence, but also a lot of lessons that the audience can learn," said Dheeraj, quoted from a text message received by KapanLagi.com on Thursday (9/5/2024).

2. Three Perpetrators Still at Large

Furthermore, Dheeraj Kalwani stated the reason why Vina's family agreed to the making of the film VINA: SEBELUM 7 HARI. Apparently, it is because three perpetrators of rape and murder have not been revealed.

"One of the reasons the family agreed to make this film is because there are still three perpetrators who have not been captured. Without this film, people will forget and not care. We hope the police will take decisive action when many viewers express their support for justice for Vina," said Dheeraj Kalwani.
