To clarify the confusing news, Aditya Zoni and Yasmine Ow finally clarified the rumors through a Celeb 360 segment on vidio.com.

"Because recently on social media, there was also a buzz about me and Yasmine going to Lombok. That's why I told Yasmine that we should just clarify it from here," said Ammar Zoni's younger brother.

1. Admitting to Having a Secret Marriage

Aditya Zoni also admitted that he had secretly married Yasmine Ow in December 2021. The wedding was witnessed by both families.

"The story is that in December 2021, we actually had an intimate wedding, just with family," said Aditya Zoni.

"There were extended family members from Yasmine's family and my family, and everyone witnessed it. Our families also found a solution for us to have a religious marriage," he continued.

2. Reasons for a Secret Marriage

Aditya Zoni explained that the reason for getting married religiously first was to avoid gossip. "Because we thought it was better to have a legal marriage first, rather than later there would be rumors and misunderstandings," said Aditya Zoni.

Another reason is that their marriage documents were not yet complete. This is understandable because Yasmine Ow is from Malaysia. So it took quite a long time to complete the paperwork.

"Why did we hide it? We were thinking about handling the reception in Indonesia. But because Yasmine's documents were not yet complete and it took time because Yasmine is a foreign national," explained Aditya Zoni.

3. Reception in May

They plan to hold the reception in the upcoming month of May. The venue itself is still being discussed.

"So we have already discussed it with both families and we agree to hold the reception in May. We might hold the reception in Indonesia or Malaysia, or both," said Aditya Zoni.

As an older brother, Ammar Zoni is also happy about his sibling's wedding. He also mentioned that it is a customary practice in their family. Just like their father, Ammar Zoni and Irish Bella did the same thing.

"My response is what we hope for. We have a family tradition, like how my father married my mother before having the reception officially recognized by religion, both sides of the family knew and it didn't cause any slander or immorality," said Ammar Zoni during a virtual interview on Wednesday (23/2).

"So, my family, starting from my father, me and Irish, my younger sibling also did the same thing, and his wife Yasmine accepted it. To avoid any slander, especially when it involves differences in countries and cultures, we unite them with religion. We decided to have a religious marriage first while preparing for the reception, the big wedding, which is still being prepared at the moment," he concluded.
