However, Maell mentioned that he was initially afraid to meet his girlfriend's parents because of his divorced status. But surprisingly, her parents accepted it.

"At first, I was a bit scared to meet her parents because I am divorced. How do I explain it to them since she is a young girl. But at that time, I didn't say it yet, but eventually I told them, and they accepted it as long as I don't hurt their daughter and it won't happen again (divorce)," said Maell Lee when interviewed recently in Cibubur, East Jakarta.
