Long Absence, Ferly Halim Returns Through the Film MENYERAH

Kapanlagi.com - Artist Ferly Halim had previously been on hiatus from both the small and big screens. Apparently, the star of the film Homestay 13 did not completely leave the stage of acting.

During the hiatus, Ferly Halim admitted to spending more time behind the scenes as a producer. He established the production house Langit Pictures since 2019.

1. Latest Production

His latest production from his production house is MENYERAH, a teenage drama genre film released on the Over The Top service, Genflix, starting from February 18, 2022.

"This is the fourth film I have made in the past two years, so I have started to appear less on the screen," said Ferly.

2. Admit Already Passed Difficult Phase

The woman who used to adorn the screen through the soap opera Kian Santang, does not deny that being a producer has high risks. However, she admits that she has passed the difficult phase.

Now, she feels comfortable as a producer. In fact, she expands her business by creating a music label called Langit Record.

"I don't know why there is comfort and challenges of its own since being behind the scenes," she said.

Although she is comfortable behind the scenes, occasionally, Ferly continued, she also participates in the films she produces. Like in the film MENYERAH. In addition to being a producer, Ferly also acts as a player. She admits it is difficult to let go of the acting world.

"Because of the love for acting alone, so I still play. But almost all of my time now is spent behind the scenes," she said.

4. Role as Langit

In the film MENYERAH, Ferly plays the role of Langit. Although it's only a small role, he is happy to be able to act again.

"It's a personal pride for the film Menyerah because in this film I am supported by many people who love me, relatives and great friends," he said.

5. Story of the Film MENYERAH

The film MENYERAH tells the story of Fajar (Andryan Jacko), a man who becomes a love slave.

He always feels that he is the best partner for his lover, Bintang (Angie Miracle). Then, Salsa and Langit appear in Fajar's life.

"We hope that this film will be liked by the audience because it presents a unique and interesting story. Besides the romantic drama, there is also action," said Ferly.
