On the other hand, Ditya Andrista also has legal issues and has been designated as a suspect by the investigators of the Jakarta Metro Police for the report filed by Denny Sumargo accusing her of forgery and embezzlement of money.

The Jakarta Metro Police investigators have designated Ditya Andrista as a suspect. Denny Sumargo's former manager is a suspect in a case of alleged forgery and embezzlement. This news was informed by Denny Sumargo's legal representative, Muhammad Anwar, during a visit to the Jakarta Metro Police on Tuesday (22/2/2022).

"So I have to convey that Denny Sumargo's report has gone through the investigation process. Now we are here to collect the letter regarding the designation of Aditya Andarista as the reported suspect," said Muhammad Anwar.

1. Former Manager Officially Becomes a Suspect

According to Muhammad Anwar, Ditya Andrista was officially named a suspect on February 21, 2022. After the suspect designation, Muhammad Anwar stated that the police could potentially arrest Ditya Andrista immediately.

"This suspect notification letter is dated February 21st. The charges applied are Article 263 of the Criminal Code and Article 372 of the Criminal Code, with a maximum penalty of 6 years in prison," said Muhammad Anwar.

2. The Beginning of the Case From the Perspective of the Former Manager

This case originated from the former manager who filed a lawsuit alleging breach of contract against Denny Sumargo at the West Jakarta Court, with a loss value of IDR 880 million. The case has been brought to trial, and the current agenda is in the mediation stage.

Muhammad Anwar, as Denny Sumargo's legal representative, believes that what Ditya did is the right of every citizen to file a lawsuit in court.

"It's the right of citizens to file a lawsuit. We could also counter-sue him," said Muhammad Anwar.

As known, Denny Sumargo reported Ditya Andrista to the Jakarta Metropolitan Police in September 2021 under charges of Article 263 of the Criminal Code and Article 372 of the Criminal Code regarding document forgery and embezzlement of money.

Densu accused Ditya of forging documents and embezzling approximately IDR 800 million while being his manager.

4. Former Manager Remains Calm

Ditya claimed to remain calm facing the mediation hearing this time. When met before the hearing, Ditya's party stated that they have prepared evidence to strengthen their claim in the trial. This was conveyed by Ditya's lawyer, Tegar Putuhena.

"Just go with the flow. It's the first mediation hearing, so we don't know yet. Just stay calm and go through it," said Ditya Andrista.

"Complete. Everything, contract evidence, witness evidence, anything," added Tegar, his legal representative.

5. Waiting for Denny's Presence

Ditya's side is eagerly awaiting the presence of Denny Sumargo in this trial. They hope to quickly resolve all issues with the man dubbed the arrogant basketball player.

"We hope that the defendant's side also has good intentions to resolve the problem. As a public figure, they should set an example. This trial is part of the legal process that cannot be separated, it must be experienced together and respected. Let's just wait," said Tegar.

Meanwhile, Denny Sumargo, according to Muhammad Anwar, cannot attend the trial at Polda Metro Jaya due to illness.

"Denny should also be here. But because Densu is not feeling well, he cannot come," he said.
