Admit Still Love, Cinta Penelope Reveals Reasons for Divorce from her Husband Bulenya

Kapanlagi.com - The divorce trial between Cinta Penelope and Taha Gokhan was held again at the South Jakarta Religious Court. This time the trial still includes mediation which was previously postponed.

Unfortunately, neither Cinta nor her husband were present at the trial. As a result, the mediation was declared unsuccessful, and the trial process will continue to the main issue.

"In essence, today the mediation was declared unsuccessful, and for the next step, we will proceed to the main issue on August 1, 2023," said Reza Asiathariq, Cinta's legal representative, on Tuesday (25/7/2023).

"Earlier, we also met with the mediator judge, and we conveyed the wishes of the parties that until now there has been no agreement, the current issues, maybe that's it," added Reza.

1. Still in Love

Three years building a household, it's not a short time for Cinta and her foreign husband to live together. That's why Cinta still has love for her husband, as well as Taha.

"Let me explain, they still say they love each other. But, there's another issue that makes them have to separate, it's for the best to be together," said Irsan, Cinta's other lawyer.

2. Cultural Differences

One of the reasons Cinta and her husband chose to end their marriage is because of cultural differences. That's why it's difficult for Cinta to accept it.

"I've explained it, it's normal because of the culture. The habits in their country are different from our culture here. That's probably what our client finds hard to accept," said Irsan.

"But in principle, this is not something we hope for. But what can we do, this is the best way that our client has to take," added Irsan.
