Admitting Losses of Up to 500 Million During Corona, Pamela Safitri and Amel Alvi's Manager Still Grateful

One of the artist managers, Ryans Rayels, revealed this when contacted by journalists recently. Ryans is the manager of Amel Alvi and Pamela Safitri.

"The impact is financial problems, of course, because of corona, all events are canceled and some are postponed indefinitely," he said.

"This month there are almost full events, but because of corona, some are canceled and some are postponed," added Ryans.

1. Loss of Nearly Half a Billion

When asked in detail about the amount of the losses, Ryan admitted that he had to let go of nearly half a billion rupiah due to the postponement of many events. "Certainly, it's a lot, the losses we have incurred are around half a billion (500 million)," he said.

However, the 26-year-old manager and his two artists have to accept the situation like this. They still support the Jakarta Government's recommendation to implement PSBB. In this situation, they are required to be creative in order to continue their work. As a result, YouTube has become their medium for creating content from home.

"Currently, we are following all the government's recommendations to stay at home. During this PSBB period, we continue to be creative by creating content for our personal YouTube channel. We also exercise regularly and pay attention to a healthy lifestyle," said Ryan.

2. Hoping for the End of the Condition

Just like other people, Ryans hopes that this condition will end soon. He is concerned about the increasing number of people testing positive for Corona and the increasing number of people who have to be unemployed in this situation. It is things like this that still make Ryans grateful for his current situation. That in the current condition, there are many who are less fortunate than him.

"Yes, hopefully this pandemic will pass quickly. I am grateful that I can still hold on to my job. Many are less fortunate, because many people are unemployed due to this Corona. Hopefully, we will always be safe and able to overcome this problem," he said.
