Admitting to Never Marrying Nuning Irpana, Here's Aliff Alli's Reason for Requesting Marriage Cancellation

Kapanlagi.com - Some time ago, Aska Ongi presented evidence that Aliff Alli had been married to a woman named Nuning Irpana in November 2011. Until now, Aliff is strongly suspected to still be legally married to Nuning as there has been no divorce.

When asked, Aliff denied the evidence in the form of a marriage certificate and marriage statement issued by the Cilandak KUA, South Jakarta. This is because the Malaysian man has never known anyone named Nuning.

"I honestly don't know her at all, never met her at all, let alone being married," said Aliff when met in the Cikini area, Central Jakarta, last week.

"What I can clarify is that there has never been a marriage between Mr. Aliff and Nuning. It has never happened," added Asgar Sjarfi, the legal representative, on the same occasion.

1. Reasons for Filing for Cancellation

On April 27, 2021, represented by Asgar Sjarfi, Aliff Alli filed for the cancellation of marriage with a woman named Nuning Irpana at the Central Jakarta Religious Court. If there was no marriage, then why did Aliff Alli file for cancellation?

"This cannot be considered a marriage yet. There will be a trial process to determine whether there was a marriage or not. Why we call it cancellation is because if it is indeed a marriage, it would be called divorce. If it's cancellation, the marriage is questioned," explained Asgar.

2. Still a Bachelor

Furthermore, Aliff Alli emphasized that he has only been married once, to Nora Alexandra. His first marriage is also registered at the Malaysian embassy.

"In dealing with my previous marriage, I was a bachelor and she (Nora) was a virgin. It is already recorded in the Malaysian embassy that I got married for the first time. If I have been married before, why is it only now emerging? Honestly, I don't know this person (Nuning)," he concluded.
