Kapanlagi.com - Hanung Bramantyo is known as a director of drama and religious films with millions of viewers. However, in the early years of his career in the film industry, he once made two horror titles.
Approximately seventeen years later, Hanung decided to direct another horror film titled TRINIL. The film is adapted from a popular radio drama in the 80s.

Hanung Bramantyo invited Wulan Guritno to be involved in TRINIL to portray a character named Ayu. This character is said to be very challenging for the actress because she plays a ghostly figure without a body.
"It's busy for me to play this role. The character's process is quite long because it is told from A to Z. The process from being young to dead, even after death, I still have to wander," said Wulan when met in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, on Monday (11/12/2023).
Playing a ghost turns out to be not as easy as imagined by Wulan Guritno. Because the perspective of humans and ghosts have different views.
"This character is complex, there is a lot that I have to learn. The gaze of the eyes when dead and alive is different. But it's interesting, it's a new knowledge and my experience becomes richer, becoming a devil," said Wulan while laughing.
