After Being Released from Prison, Angelina Sondakh is Allowed to Work Again

Kapanlagi.com - Angelina Sondakh has been declared free after serving a 10-year prison sentence. Currently, she is in the Pre-Release Furlough period. The Head of Class 1 South Jakarta Correctional Facility, Ricky Dwi Biantoro, stated that Angelina is now able to work again.

Not only that, Ricky also said that they could allow Angelina to travel out of town, especially for the purpose of earning a living. However, Angelina must obtain permission from the Correctional Facility first.

"Working is allowed. For our clients who have been reintegrated, they can travel out of town, especially for work, because they need to reintegrate into society," said Ricky at his office on Friday (4/3/2022).

"She has to return to society, she has to try again for activities like before. That's the permission we allow," Ricky added.

1. Mandatory Reporting

For now, Angelina Sondakh is still required to undergo mandatory reporting until June 1, 2022. Ricky said that Puteri Indonesia 2001 is still under the guidance and supervision of Bapas. Automatically, Angelina must undergo a number of programs that have been created by Bapas.

"So Angie must follow the guidance that we have determined. When she is still in the guidance period and wants to leave the city, she cannot leave the city, she must first follow the guidance from us," said Ricky.

2. Can Leave the City

Angie can only travel outside the city after completing the guidance. She must prioritize the guidance before she can be granted permission to travel.

"After the guidance is completed, for example, if there is a personality guidance, she must participate in it. When she has finished fulfilling that obligation, she can leave the city. But she must prioritize following the guidance first," Ricky concluded.

3. Imprisoned in 2012

This former member of the Democratic Party was involved in the corruption case of the budget of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2012.

The late Adjie Massaid's wife was officially imprisoned on April 27, 2012, for proven acceptance of bribes amounting to Rp 2.5 billion and USD 1.2 million. The Washington Apple is synonymous with Angie when she was involved in the case.

4. Pilgrimage to Adjie Massaid's Grave

After being released from prison on Thursday (3/3) at 6:22 a.m., Angelina Sondakh immediately picked up her children to go to her husband's grave, Adjie Massaid. Together with Keanu Massaid and Aaliyah Massaid, they made a pilgrimage to Adjie Massaid's grave at TPU Jeruk Purut, South Jakarta.

Upon arrival at the grave, Angie immediately kissed the tombstone of the late Adjie Massaid. Although her face was covered with a mask, Angelina Sondakh's tears were clearly visible on her cheeks.
