After Criticizing Indira Khalista's Statement About Corona, Awkarin Gets Roasted Back

When asked by Gritte about corona, Indira considers this pandemic to be unnecessary to be exaggerated. "Because actually, personally, I don't really care much about it, I believe that Corona exists, the disease exists. But actually, it's not as big of a deal as people make it out to be. Sometimes, people are too quick to take news without listening to multiple sources, they only listen to one side, so they don't have any references. Well, I'm the type who's like, Corona? It's just like that," said Indira.

Although Indiria's statement has been edited in the Youtube video, the edited part has already gone viral on social media and angered netizens. One of them who was disappointed with Indira's statement that seemed to trivialize the coronavirus is Karin Novilda, better known as Awkarin.

"So I've been at home for two months #almostcrazy trying to break the chain of this Corona, but Indira just made a joke out of it. Seriously. How much longer do I have to play The Sims 4 at home :-)," Karin wrote on her Twitter on Friday (15/5/2020).

Many agreed with Karin's statement, and in the reply to the tweet, many also expressed their grievances about being laid off because of the coronavirus. Some also said they were getting bored with just lying down all the time.

But there is one Twitter account with the username @papajahat_3gp that quoted Awkarin's tweet and added a screenshot of a news portal. The news article reported that Karin was one of the guests at the wedding of celebrity influencer Rica Andriani and Kompol Fahrul Sudiana, which went viral and received heavy criticism for being held in the midst of the corona pandemic.

This tweet also gained attention as it seemed to criticize Karin for saying that she had only been at home for two months. However, there were also some who continued to support Karin, as she is always ready to help many people in need with her own money.
