After Getting Married Unofficially, Rachel Maryam and Her Husband Jointly Apply for Marriage Confirmation

Kapanlagi.com - Rachel Maryam and her husband, Edwin Aprihandono, jointly applied for marriage confirmation at the South Jakarta Religious Court. The news of Rachel Maryam's marriage confirmation has been confirmed by the Public Relations of the South Jakarta Religious Court, Cece Rukmana.

"(Applying) 10 days ago with the use of legal representation so that the principal can attend the hearing, one applicant and two applicants accompanied by legal representation," said Cece Rukmana when met at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Monday (3/8).

Their marriage confirmation hearing is scheduled to be held today, Monday (3/8). The hearing schedule has started at around 09.00 AM.

"Yes, today on the third of August there is a hearing in the name of EA and RMS regarding the marriage confirmation case," said Cece Rukmana.

1. To Officially Register the Marriage

This session is conducted to officially register the marriage. Rachel Maryam and Aprihandono themselves have been known to be married since December 16, 2011.

"Both of them submitted their applications from EA and RMS, as applicants 1 and 2, requesting their applications to be approved and recorded legally," he said.

2. Administrative Requirements

Cece Rukmana also conveyed several administrative requirements related to the submission of marriage confirmation, including a photocopy of the ID card of applicants one and two, and other documents.

"If their status is widower or widow, there must be evidence of divorce from the religious court in the form of a divorce certificate and a copy of the verdict. Furthermore, there must be evidence that the marriage is not registered at the Civil Registration Office in the district where they both reside," she concluded.
