After Going Viral Accusing Gofar Hilman of Sexual Harassment, Twitter Account Owner Quweenjojo Apologizes - Admits Delusion

Now, after 7 months, the woman who is familiarly known as Syerin apologizes. In a video divided into two posts, Syerin admits that what happened with Gofar at that time was her delusion.

Syerin uploaded the video on Friday, (11/2) at around 20:54 WIB. She created a thread of apology to Gofar and his family.

"I, Hafsyarina Sufa Rebowo or Syerin, want to apologize to Gofar Hilman, Gofar Hilman's extended family, and the general public for my posts on June 8, 2021, on the Twitter account @quweenjojo, accusing Abdul Gofar Hilman of sexual harassment against me," wrote Syerin on the Twitter account @quwenjojo.

In the first video, Syerin revealed that she recorded the video without any coercion from anyone. She also narrated what happened during her meeting with Gofar in Malang.

"This video was made without any coercion from anyone. And through this video, I want to tell the truth about what happened on August 19, 2018. At that time, I went to Opa's House by myself, and there I also drank alcohol or got drunk. The story is that I met Gofar Hilman with the intention of taking a selfie video, and was welcomed by Gofar, embraced. Just embraced," said Syerin.

Syerin stated that the harassment done by Gofar was only her imagination. All of it happened after she read several stories of sexual harassment.

"And on June 8, why did I tweet something like that? It was because of the provocation or trigger from other stories of sexual harassment. And there is a delusion or imaginative internal urge within me to tell that to the public," she explained.

Together with her family, Syerin made a clarification video addressed to Gofar Hilman and his family. She admitted that she did not expect her tweet from 2018 to go viral and create a buzz in the online world.

"And with this video, I also want to apologize sincerely to Gofar Hilman, Gofar Hilman's family, and all parties affected by the tweet that I cannot be held accountable for. And I also didn't expect that it would go viral or create a commotion," Syerin continued.

Syerin also promised to be wiser in using social media. What she experienced with Gofar will be a valuable lesson in her life.

"So once again, I apologize. This is a valuable learning experience for me, to be more responsible and wiser in social media in the future. I also emphasize that the accusation is not true. Thank you," Syerin concluded.

5. Parents Apologize

In the recording, Syerin's parents also apologize. Represented by her mother, Syerin's family apologizes for their daughter causing a commotion on social media.

"Assalamualaikum Wr. Wb, today, February 10, 2022, our family, Hafsyarina Sufa Rebowo or Syerin, would like to apologize for our child's tweet that went viral. Our intention is, in essence, to apologize wholeheartedly and thank you," said Syerin's mother.
