After One Month, the Family Finally Reveals the Cause of Mbak You's Death

Now, after one month since her passing, the family finally wants to speak up about the cause of Mbak You's death. EDJ Novian, Mbak You's aunt who is also her assistant, shared in great detail about Mbak You's passing.

Apparently, before taking her last breath, the paranormal whose real name is Euis Juwariyah Johana had gone to Salatiga, Central Java for 10 days to attend an event commemorating the first anniversary of her beloved mother's passing.

"Before she left, we went to Salatiga for 10 days, traveling by land to commemorate the first anniversary of Mbak You's late mother. In addition, she also performed rituals for her guests, created content in Salatiga and Yogyakarta," said EDJ Novion during a virtual press conference on Thursday (5/8/2021).

1. Asthma Attack

After the event, Mbak You experienced shortness of breath. Knowing this, the management team quickly moved to have Mbak You examined by a doctor or a local hospital. However, Mbak You initially refused because she already had a doctor who truly knew her condition.

"Before returning to Jakarta, she complained that her asthma was acting up, 'I have difficulty breathing'. I suggested that she get checked by a local doctor, but she said 'the doctor who knows my medical history is in Jakarta'," said EDJ Novion.

"When she arrived in Jakarta, her condition did not improve like it did in Java, in fact, it got worse. I thought she was exhausted because her activities never stopped. She was really, really tired. She continued to complain about difficulty breathing, she even said 'I'm sick, my body can't take it'," he continued.

Since Mbak You's condition did not improve, she was immediately taken to the nearest hospital from her residence in the Bintaro area. At that time, the hospital was full and eventually Mbak You decided to go back home.

"She went home, and when she arrived, she asked to be bathed, as she always does no matter what time it is. After I bathed her, she asked me not to leave her side. At that time, she was about to lie down when she shouted for me, she said 'there are many people outside'," said EDJ Novion.

2. Condition is Getting Worse

On Wednesday (1/7/2021), Mbak You's condition did not improve. In fact, she needed help from EDJ Novion just to get into bed. From there, Mbak You lost consciousness and was rushed to the hospital. Upon arrival, Mbak You was pronounced dead.

"The next day, there was no improvement, instead it got worse," she said. "She said 'I'm sick' and endured the pain. Around 11 o'clock, she asked for help to get into bed. Maybe she had no more energy or maybe because there was no oxygen or her breath had stopped at that moment, she closed her eyes and fainted," she added.

"Finally, I completely surrendered, until at 11:45 PM on July 1, 2021, she left forever. The condition was confirmed at the nearest hospital. She has passed away," EDJ Novion continued.

3. Not Because of Falling or Covid-19

Many assume that Mbak You died due to a fall. Not only that, some also claim that Mbak You died because of Covid-19. However, all assumptions from netizens regarding the cause of Mbak You's death were strongly denied by the family. Mbak You died because her asthma relapsed.

"The claims that she fell or contracted Covid-19 are all false. I reiterate here that Mbak You did not fall, she died due to lack of oxygen caused by her asthma. The circulating news is completely untrue," said EDJ Novion.
