After the Departure of the Mother Forever, Sonny Septian Calls the Adhan at the Funeral

Kapanlagi.com - Sad news envelops the family of artist Sonny Septian and Elma Theana. On Sunday (29/4/2024), the body of their mother, Omas Tjahjawati, also known as Wati Siregar, was laid to rest at TPU Karet Bivak, Central Jakarta. Sonny Septian and Elma Theana, along with their three siblings, were present to accompany their mother to her final resting place.

The presence of the family was further enhanced by the attendance of Fairuz A. Rafiq, Sonny Septian's wife, along with their children, King Faaz and Queen Eijaz, who also witnessed the funeral procession.

In that moment, Sonny Septian along with his two siblings descended into the grave to bid farewell to their beloved mother. As the body began to be lowered, Sonny also, with great fortitude, recited the adhan in front of his mother, though tears were hard to hold back.

Although struck by the loss of his mother, Sonny tried to stay strong and composed in front of the family. As the officers began to cover the grave with soil, the sadness was increasingly felt by Sonny.

However, the support from his children and wife who were present provided strength for Sonny during those difficult times. After the grave closing process was completed, it was followed by a prayer reading.

With heavy hearts, the family prayed that their mother would find the best place beside Allah SWT. The burial process ended with the scattering of flowers. After the flower scattering, with a trembling voice, Sonny delivered a message that was truly touching.

"Mama is no longer in pain, we will meet again in good health in heaven. We all here will pray for mama, her grandchildren, insya Allah, everyone will open the gates of heaven for mama," he said.

3. Prayer of the Grandchildren of the Quran Memorizer

At the end of his statement, Sonny also hopes that the children and grandchildren of the late mother can become Quran memorizers who can bring the deceased to heaven.

"Grandchildren of mama, children of mama, God willing, Quran memorizers who will bring mama to Allah's heaven. Be happy, Mah... Husnul khotimah," concluded Sonny Septian.
