It turns out, Ibu Hikmah is a real mortician. She learned the process of bathing the deceased in great detail.

"I practiced bathing the body from the beginning. It was done repeatedly not only for memorization, but also to understand the meaning and why we bathe from the right side first," said Aghniny, interviewed at Epicentrum XXI, Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (18/1/2024).

Aghniny Haque felt that being a body washer was not easy. From the training process to the physical shooting, it took a toll on her.

"Honestly, I always believed that my body would be strong. But here, my body becomes weak, my mind becomes weak. Because here, my character is facing death and bathing the body. The energy I feel is heavy and exhausting," said the 26-year-old actress.

Furthermore, Aghniny Haque expressed admiration for those who work as corpse washers. Because some have been doing it for years.

"I am amazed by the profession of corpse washers, it's not just a service, but it's truly noble. It's not easy to face death every day, taking care of people who are no longer here. I see that Ibu Hikmah is very strong, and I am inspired by her," said Aghniny.
