Aldi Taher Builds a Business from Rp 40 Million, Now Has Many Lines of Business

Kapanlagi.com - Aldi Taher outlines the business journey he has undertaken amidst negative allegations circulating on social media. This presenter and singer emphasizes that his business has grown gradually, starting from what he considers a modest capital and strengthened by collaborations with many parties.

"I have Aldis Burger with a capital of 40 million, bartering with Bang Rizal who has a capital of around 30 million. I have a place in Cempaka Putih where I used to sell chicken noodles, previously selling taichan while I was undergoing chemotherapy," Aldi revealed.

When met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (21/7), Aldi explained that the culinary line he started is the result of a long process. He also mentioned the importance of family prayers and the support of many people in sustaining his business journey so far.

1. Capital of Rp 40 Million and the Culinary Business Journey

Aldi Taher mentioned that the stepping stone of his business started from the culinary venture. From a place in Cempaka Putih that he previously used to sell chicken noodles, he then tried various menus, including taichan satay during his chemotherapy period.

In the same meeting in Tendean, he dismissed the notion that his business grew overnight. According to him, the growth happened layer by layer with the addition of business lines that arose from daily selling experiences.

He reiterated that the initial capital he used was around Rp 40 million. Beyond that, he relied on partnerships, resource exchanges, and utilizing existing spaces to keep the business running.

2. Responding to Accusations and the List of Aldi Taher's Business Lines

In the midst of that journey, Aldi admitted that he had heard negative accusations regarding the source of his business funds. He responded by emphasizing the meaning of effort, as well as mentioning the prayers of his family and the support of many parties as important parts of his process in building his business.

"So honestly, when friends said money laundering, at first I was sad. How could their mouths be so mean? But I thought, well, it’s human nature; we can’t control what they say, we just pray for them. That’s still in this world, not in heaven," he said.

Aldi explained that he now has several lines of business outside of his entertainment activities. He mentioned that each business unit already has its own capital, so it is not related to his plan to sell his house.

"Business is going well, thank God, that’s why I’m expanding with this business: selling burgers, coffee, hotdogs, wet fried chicken. Aldi Taher Channel TV," he said.

3. Regarding the Sale of the House in Jagakarsa

Aldi also emphasized that the sale of his house in Jagakarsa is not aimed at expanding his business. The funds are planned to be allocated for purchasing a new house that is closer to his father. He admitted that he still needs to add funds to make it happen.

"No, if it's trading, there is already capital, Bang. It’s done. The trading has already happened. If trading this house, I need money, yes, bismillah, efforts to please my father. But there is indeed a difference in amount, I need to add money. Short by 1 billion. Where will the money come from? From Allah! Ustaz Yusuf Mansur, bismillah, from Allah. Please pray for me," said Aldi.

He reiterated the separation between household needs and business operations. According to him, the business units currently running already have their own capital.

4. Principle of Collaboration and Halal Orientation

Regarding management, Aldi mentioned that he does not work alone. He chooses to collaborate with various parties because he believes that working together makes the business more effective, including in research, development, and management.

"The Prophet Muhammad SAW also traded in a group, Bang, collaboration. I learned from Him, our esteemed leader, our Great Prophet. So if I trade alone, I can't, Bang, my brain is just this much. I can only do marketing, but R&D is done together. Management is also together," he explained.

In closing his explanation, Aldi emphasized that the main principle he holds in business is to seek halal sustenance, while hoping that his business continues to grow and benefit many people.

"All my businesses are in business with Allah, Bang. Halalan thoyyiban, insya Allah, I do not take the rights of others," concluded Aldi.
