Amanda Manopo Admits to Terror and Death Threats Amid Embezzlement Case

Kapanlagi.com - Amanda Manopo provided the latest update regarding the conflict that coincides with the alleged embezzlement case involving her former employee. She admitted to having received a series of terror and threats during the dispute with the related parties.

"There were terror, other forms of terror, and threats. Threats through social media were definitely present. We have voice notes as well where there is communication that indeed comes from the Director as the company, and from Ais as my manager, there were also threats," Amanda revealed at the South Jakarta Police, Wednesday (22/7/2026).

Amanda explained that the threats she received came through several channels, including social media and voice messages. In her account, the communication recorded in the voice note involved the Director as a representative of the company and Ais, referred to as her former manager.

She provided this information when visiting the South Jakarta Police. According to Amanda, these threats arose amid a conflict that coincided with the handling of a case involving the alleged embezzlement of funds by a former employee.

The case of alleged embezzlement serves as the main background for the reported issue. At the same time, Amanda mentioned the presence of pressure in the form of terror and threats directed at her through posts and digital communications.

2. Statement Regarding Death Threats

Furthermore, Amanda revealed the existence of threats targeting her safety directly. She mentioned death threats and plans to approach her.

"There are threats to kill, to approach, and all sorts of things," she said.

This statement was made on the same occasion when she reported and provided information to the police.

3. Police Report with Legal Counsel

Amanda stated that the series of terror stopped after she and her legal counsel first visited the police station. She believes that the reporting action had an immediate effect on the parties suspected of making the threats.

"It stopped when we first came here. Maybe he was scared," she said.

4. Focus on the Case of Alleged Fund Embezzlement

On the other hand, Amanda's legal counsel, Sandy Arifin, explained that they are also examining the possibility of applying the ITE Law regarding several posts that are deemed harmful and insulting to their client. However, the current focus remains on the case of alleged fund embezzlement.

"In the ITE Law, after we looked at several posts that indeed harm and also make our client feel insulted by the words in question. So we are focusing on the embezzlement of money for the time being," Sandy explained.
