Indra Bruggman Speaks Candidly About Aging, Ready for Facelift and Hair Transplant

Although known for his youthful appearance, Indra Bruggman admits he has never undergone facelift procedures or made changes to his face. However, he does not dismiss the possibility that he might do so in the future.

Indra admits that he has started wearing glasses due to vision problems that have arisen with age. Nevertheless, he feels his spirit is still young even though his hair is starting to turn white.

"Nothing has changed. I haven't undergone any facelift procedures yet. But maybe in the future, it seems I will have to, because my facial skin feels like it is starting to sag when I noticed it on camera yesterday," said Indra Bruggman when met at XXI Epicentrum, South Jakarta, recently.

"The wrinkles certainly still need to be maintained. Now I also have to start wearing glasses because presbyopia is starting to be felt, it's just part of the aging process. But to be honest, when it comes to age, I often forget my age. I feel young at heart even though my hair is starting to turn gray," said Indra.

The eye disorder, Indra said, only appeared after he was diagnosed with thyroid disease. He explained that the thyroid indeed has a wide impact on various parts of the body.

"There's a minus, about 0.7. That only started to be felt since I was affected by thyroid. The thyroid has a very large influence, starting from the eyes, skin, to hair, because it is part of an autoimmune condition," said Indra.

Regarding his facial skin that often turns red, Indra emphasizes that it has nothing to do with the autoimmune condition he is experiencing. He mentions that his skin is indeed sensitive to sunlight due to hereditary factors. "If my skin turns red, it's because I have Caucasian ancestry. When exposed to sunlight, it usually turns red right away because of my Dutch heritage, not because of an autoimmune condition," Indra said while laughing.

To address his hair loss, Indra apparently already has a plan to undergo a hair transplant. "But later the plan is just to do a hair transplant, that's an easy matter," Indra said.
