Kapanlagi.com - Vicky Shu attended the wedding reception of Nathalie Holscher and Arief Fadli alias Aripat in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (22/7). The singer, whose full name is Vicky Veranita Yudhasoka, made a special effort to attend her friend's invitation.
"It just so happens that today I was invited by Kak Nathalie, so how many times has it been, like I was reminded three times 'Come on, don't forget to come to this wedding event'. So I made time to attend," Vicky revealed.
She mentioned that the reminders from Nathalie ensured that her personal matters were settled so she could attend the event directly.

Vicky Shu explained that her closeness with Nathalie has been established for a long time, long before Nathalie became widely known as a public figure. They got to know each other when Nathalie was still actively singing.
"Coincidentally, I've known Nathalie for a long time since back when... well, it's been a while, Nathalie wasn't very active in entertainment, she used to like singing," she said.
Vicky expressed her happiness for her friend's new step and took the time to attend as a form of support.
Despite being longtime friends, Vicky admitted that she hasn't followed the details of Nathalie's romantic journey. She was surprised when she received the wedding invitation because she did not know her friend's partner.
"Honestly, not really, because I was also surprised when I suddenly received an invitation, 'Come, okay!' you know? With whom? you know? Then I opened it, still didn’t know who it was, hadn't met or been introduced yet," she said.
Vicky stated that she has never met Arief Fadli, also known as Aripat, in person. She hopes to get to know him at the reception.
"Not yet acquainted, I'm just about to get to know him, I haven't been introduced. Because I actually don't, if I haven't been introduced, I also don't look for information, right?" she explained.

Amidst the family's busyness, Vicky arrived with a simple appearance. She explained that for some time, she had been focused on accompanying her mother who had just undergone surgery, so she didn't have time to prepare a special outfit.
"So actually my mom just had surgery, I didn't bring any clothes, right? So I just asked the household to bring whatever clothes for the invitation. So it was what it was. Well, today because I thought this is for an invitation, I chose to wear something simple and I wore a watch," she explained.
She chose practical attire suitable for the event and wore a watch as an accessory.
To close the conversation, Vicky conveyed her prayers for Nathalie Holscher and Arief Fadli so that their household may run harmoniously and filled with goodness.
"Hopefully, they become a family that is sakinah mawaddah warahmah, always happy, always able to understand each other because that's the essence of a household, and then what else, loving each other, respecting each other, may they all be granted health, blessings, and once again happiness," concluded Vicky Shu.
