Alleged Embezzlement Case by Irwansyah Continues, Police Summon Zaskia Sungkar and Laudya Cynthia Bella as Witnesses

Kapanlagi.com - The alleged embezzlement case involving Irwansyah continues. Today, Monday (23/3), the husband of Zaskia Sungkar was supposed to comply with the summons from Polresta Bandung as a witness in the case.

However, it has been temporarily postponed because Irwansyah still has some unfinished matters that cannot be left behind. This was directly conveyed by the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Bandung City Police, AKBP Galih Indragiri.

"The investigation has been initiated. So far, we have escalated the case to the investigation stage. We have summoned the person involved, but there is a request from the person involved to postpone it due to some unavoidable activities, namely related to his test tube baby," said AKBP Galih Indagri at Polresta Bandung, Monday (23/3).

"So we have only summoned him once, and we also need to be aware that in accordance with the government's policy, especially the Chief of Police, regarding the COVID-19 issue, we have to adjust. However, we still carry out the necessary investigation actions, preparations, and executions," he added.

1. Laudya Cynthia Bella Becomes a Witness

In addition to Irwansyah, AKBP Galih said that the Bandung Police will also summon other witnesses. There are a total of 12 witnesses who will be called for investigation regarding the embezzlement case. 

One of the witnesses who will be called is Laudya Cynthia Bella. As known, this cake business is run together by Irwansyah, Laudya Cynthia Bella, and also Medina Zein as the reporter. 

"Yes, so there are several witnesses that we have examined, around 12 people, but we also need some other witnesses, like Laudya Cinta Bella, we will also examine her as a witness to complete our file," said AKBP Galih.

2. Zaskia Sungkar Will Also Be Summoned

Out of the 12 witnesses who will be summoned for investigation, apart from Laudya Cynthia Bella, Irwansyah's wife, Zaskia Sungkar, will also be summoned as a witness.

However, the summons for now must be postponed due to Zaskia's reasons regarding IVF and the ongoing Corona pandemic. 

"So for the concerned wife, Irwansyah's wife will also be summoned. However, the reason is the same, we are giving an opportunity from a humanitarian perspective, once again related to what has been conveyed by the central government and also by the Chief of Police," said AKBP Galih.
