Already Deceased, the Late Rony Dozer is Summoned Regarding Alleged Breach of Contract Case

Kapanlagi.com - Although he has passed away, the late Rony Dozer is being summoned by someone named Eko Mega Bintang. He has sent this summons to the late actor and comedian's wife, Dina Mediana Kurniawati, regarding a case of alleged breach of contract or default.

Prior to this, it turns out that Eko Mega Bintang was one of the executives at Rodoz Entertainment Management who supported Ronny Dozer during his lifetime. When met in Tebet area, South Jakarta, on Monday afternoon (2/21), Eko stated that there was an unfinished work contract agreement between his party and Ronny Dozer, while the full payment had already been transferred.

"So there is a project issue that has not been resolved. This concerns a significant amount of money, approximately hundreds of millions of rupiah," Eko explained.

1. Unfinished Projects

There are two projects in the case, namely culinary and horror programs on television. Eko also emphasized that Rony Dozer's party has received payment.

"The project was initially in 2017, with a culinary theme. It has been running for several episodes, and one of the private television stations has explained that it will air this month. But in 2017, it turns out that Mr. Rony Dozer was sick," said Eko.

"Meanwhile, there were 4 to 5 transfers for 34 episodes with a mystery horror program. The first transfer was Rp 50 million. First, in November 2017, it was for the culinary project. In May 2018, it was Rp 400 million, a mystery horror program whose investor is from Taiwan. The third one, there is evidence that I sent Rp 25 million. On behalf of the recipient, Rony Dozer. My evidence is real and exists," he continued.

2. Already Sent Two Warnings

In addition, Eki's party said that they have sent two warnings. However, there was no response from Rony Dozer's wife as his heir regarding this issue.

"Why am I like this? Because we have sent the first warning for more than a week, and today we sent the second warning, but there has been no response at all. My messages are only seen, and even phone calls are not answered," he explained.

Not only that, to strengthen his claim, Eko also showed several transfer proofs to Rony Dozer. He mentioned that the total transfer amounted to approximately Rp 60 million.

"This next transfer is Rp 100 million, this is for culinary, this is in 2018. The total is approximately Rp 600 million," he said.

4. Third Party Demand

Eko's legal representative, Hari, explained that there was an unfinished work contract agreement between his client and Ronny Dozer. However, all the money had already been transferred by an investor from Taiwan.

"Regarding this collaboration, actually the client doesn't expect 100 percent of the money to be returned. There is only a third party demand from Taiwan that expects the money given to the deceased to be returned, through our client as an intermediary," said Hari.

5. Investors Demand Clarity

In the same occasion, Eko also added that the investor from Taiwan, who wishes to remain anonymous, has demanded clarity regarding the project and the money that has been sent. Not only that, Eko also mentioned that the investor apparently had no knowledge of Rony Dozer's death.

"The owner asked us about the progress of the project. But I told him, Rony was sick at that time and he didn't recover," said Eko.
