Kapanlagi.com - The film SIKSA NERAKA, adapted from the legendary comic by M.B. Rahimsyah, has been released in cinemas throughout Indonesia since last Thursday (14/12/2023). On the first day, this horror production from Dee Company managed to gather 176,690 viewers.
This achievement makes SIKSA NERAKA the fifth highest opening film. Therefore, producer Dheeraj Kalwani expresses gratitude for the public's response.
"Praise and gratitude, we express our thanks to the public who enthusiastically watched the film SIKSA NERAKA on the first day. Hopefully, the positive impression after watching can attract others," said Dheeraj quoted from a text message received by KapanLagi.com, Friday (15/12/2023).
The overwhelming number of viewers on the first day certainly made Kiesha Alvaro, the cast of the movie SIKSA NERAKA, happy. Because this is his first horror film released.
"Keep going. Thank you to the enthusiastic audience who came to the cinema on the first day. The tiredness and wounds during filming are worth it," said Kiesha.
The first Indonesian film this year to receive the highest total opening day viewers is PETUALANGAN SHERINA 2 with 256,286. Following in second place is SUZZANNA MALAM JUMAT KLIWON with 193,263 viewers.
The third position is occupied by SEWU DINO with a viewer count of 187,505. Meanwhile, 172 DAYS became the fourth highest with a total of 186,620.
