When met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Friday afternoon (28/6), the actor who used to play as a transgender admitted that he doesn't mind if he is not called 'Haji Boby' in the future. Because Boby's intention to worship is truly sincere.

"I just call myself Boby and I'm happy. If there are additional titles like haji (someone who has performed the pilgrimage) with a beard and a peci (traditional Muslim cap)," said Boby Tince.

"If I have the opportunity to perform the hajj (pilgrimage), people can call me haji mangga (haji is a title for someone who has performed the pilgrimage), or call me Boby Tince, it's up to them," he added.

Boby emphasizes that no matter how society perceives him in the future, he will remain grateful. According to Boby, it means that his journey of faith has been successful.

"It's fine, people can call me whatever they want. If they call me haji, alhamdulillah (praise be to Allah), it means they have witnessed my journey of faith," he said.
