Alvin Faiz Accused of Embezzling Funds from Azzikra Foundation, Related Parties Conduct Financial Audit

Kapanlagi.com - The son of the late Ustaz Arifin Ilham, Alvin Faiz, is still the talk of the town. After news of his second marriage with Henny Rahman, who is the ex-wife of his close friend, Zikri Daulay, caused a stir, Alvin is also facing unpleasant rumors.

It is known that this father of one has been accused of embezzling funds from the Azzikra Foundation, where Alvin Faiz is known to be a board member. Many parties have finally requested an audit to be conducted because it is suspected that the funds intended for the community were used by Alvin for his personal interests.

Therefore, Steven Indra Wibowo, the founder of the Mualaf Center Indonesia, made a post about Azzikra on his personal Instagram account. In the post, the man who is familiarly called Koh Steven tells the story of how Azzikra was established and how the late Ustaz Arifin Ilham asked him to continue to uphold the honor and dignity of Islam.

1. Audit Will Be Conducted

When contacted by the media, on Wednesday (18/8) Steven stated that he actually did not want to assume anything about the issues attacking Alvin. He is now waiting for the relevant parties to conduct a financial audit of Azzikra.

"Once it is audited, we can speak comfortably. For now, we are still assuming. That's what we are trying to avoid. Let's not assume yet. Later, after it is audited and the case is clear, then we can prove it," said Steven Indra Wibowo.

Steven also admitted that he has long been warning Alvin to be careful in his behavior and actions. The issue of financial audit has also been conveyed to Alvin to prevent slander.

"That issue has been going on for a long time. I conveyed it so that it can be audited to avoid suspicion and slander. The idea is, instead of answering one by one, it's better to audit it first, and then post it because the slander is too widespread," he said.

2. Accountability of Community Funds

Through his post, Steven admitted that he had no intention of interfering in Alvin's personal life. He only reminded about the funds of the community that must be accounted for transparently.

"As for his personal matters, I don't care, whether he gets married, divorced, or anything. This (embezzlement) is not just an issue. The problem at Azzikra, it's not just an issue. That's why it should be taken more seriously," he concluded.

All of these actions he took were an effort to supervise the operation of the foundation established by the late Arifin Ilham. His actions were not without reason, as various negative issues about Alvin apparently had a negative impact on Islam in society.

"I am more focused on Azzikra, it concerns the welfare of the community, and this is related to our honor and dignity as Muslims," he explained.

"It's Islam that is affected, in general. Because he represents, he is a representation, he is a public figure, that's why I say this is what I avoid, this is what I want to clarify," he added.
