Happiness is enveloping the couple Al Ghazali and Alyssa Daguise. Alyssa has just given birth to their first child, a girl, on Sunday (10/5/2026). The delivery was done naturally at JWCC Asih Hospital, South Jakarta.
Al Ghazali stated that his wife indeed had a strong desire to give birth naturally since the beginning of her pregnancy. This desire was fulfilled with a very smooth delivery process.
"Yes, she really wanted it to be natural and everything went smoothly. So there was no induction, no stitches, no tearing," said Al Ghazali when met at JWCC Asih Hospital, South Jakarta, Wednesday (13/5/2026).
The eldest son of Ahmad Dhani explained that Alyssa actually feels more worried about having to undergo a cesarean operation. That is what triggered Alyssa's mental readiness to face a normal delivery.
Alyssa's resilience is evident in how she prepares herself for the delivery day. Al mentioned that his wife's mental state was very mature before entering the delivery room.
"In fact, she seems to be more afraid of a cesarean. So, from a mental standpoint, she is ready for a normal delivery," said Al.
The struggle resulted in sweet rewards with the birth of their child. Their baby girl was born healthy, weighing 3.002 kilograms and measuring 49 centimeters long.
Although experiencing contractions for two days, Al mentioned that the dilation progressed quite quickly in the final moments. Alyssa requested an epidural anesthesia when she could no longer bear the pain at five centimeters dilation.
"Two days in the hospital. Then from yesterday, Saturday, I was admitted at 12, observed at 5. Then we went home, and came back again. At 11 PM the doctor texted me again, and I was already at 3 centimeters dilation," she concluded.
