Andika ex Kangen Band Reveals Facts About His Biological Mother's Severe Depression

Perhaps not many people know that Andika actually had to separate from his biological mother since he was still a 2-month-old baby. At that time, he then followed his father who remarried a new woman. Andika finally didn't know, and even didn't know the face of his biological mother at all.

1. Andika's Biological Mother Suffering from Severe Depression

The story was recently shared by Andika when he was invited as a guest on the Orami Indoensia Youtube channel. From there, it was revealed that Andika's father had passed away and his biological mother suffered from severe depression.

"My father is no longer here, my mother has depression, not normal like us. (Depression) Since they separated from my father. They separated when I was 2 months old, and I was taken care of by my aunt and father. So my father worked, came home and gave money, then left again," Andika revealed to the host, Liza M Djaprie.

2. Andika Cries Seeing His Biological Mother's Condition

Andika finally met his biological mother again when he was in custody for a drug case. It was then that this man, who was nicknamed 'Babang Tamvan', first realized that his mother had depression.

"Sometimes she remembers, sometimes she talks nonsense. But what made me sad was that it was the first time I was visited by my own biological mother, and I cried. Previously, I didn't know, I had never seen her face. Because it was hidden from me by my father. Maybe because my father had passed away, they dared to reveal it," Andika reminisced.

3. Andika Entrusted to Nyi Blorong

Andika does not deny that he feels very embarrassed because the moment he met his biological mother happened while he was in custody. However, that is also what ultimately became a source of motivation for him to change into a better person.

"The first time I met her, she said, 'This is Andika, right? I entrusted him to Nyi Blorong, to Nyi Roro Kidul', it's nonsense. I teared up there. I was told that my mother had been depressed for a long time. Well, I understand enough, it's quite embarrassing to meet there, why not meet outside, why when I was really down. And that actually built me up, pushed me to find a way to get out quickly and meet my mother, meet my children," explained the 37-year-old man.
